Your mission: interface between the clients and the R&D team
- As the technical expert on FMC Biopolymer’s products for the pharmaceutical industry, you will be involved in a variety of functions.
- You will proactively support sales in Europe and work closely with the R&D, Sales and Marketing teams as well as with the distributors.
- You will develop relationships with key customers and become a central point of contact for their technical requests.
- Together with the local sales teams, you will visit clients regularly to provide advice and make technical presentations.
- In addition, you will participate actively in seminars to promote FMC excipients.
- In cooperation with the Global Development manager, the clients and the internal key stakeholders, you will coordinate and execute product and application development projects. A dedicated technician will support you in this role.
- You will also be responsible for the quality of work within the development team in order to realise the business project goals.
- You will report to the Global Technical Manager.

Your credentials: scientific expert with business acumen
- You have a Master’s degree (pharmaceutics, chemistry or a related field) and a strong knowledge of formulation acquired through your experience in the pharmaceutical sector or pharmaceutical equipment sector.
- Fluency in English and knowledge of MS office applications are required.
- You have a deep understanding of business needs and know how to translate them into concrete objectives within your discipline.
- You are a self-motivated person who can operate with a great deal of autonomy and work closely together with national and international colleagues as well as with cross-functional teams.
- You are a creative problem-solver with a customer oriented attitude and strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- You combine stress resistance with good organisational abilities.
- You are willing to locate to Brussels and to travel between 30% and 50% of your time, first in Europe and in Asia in the future.
